Alyssa HardingAlyssa Harding
Executive Director

Alyssa Harding is the Executive Director of the Sustainable Food Trade Association as of August 2019. She has an educational foundation in agricultural ecology, a pending master’s degree in Environmental Policy, and a strong personal mission to drive institutional change through sustainability. She previously managed Corporate Responsibility at Justin’s, a Boulder-based nut butter company, where she built the company’s sustainability and philanthropic programs from the ground up, incorporating a local, state and national focus for each effort to deliver on the organization’s triple bottom line. Before Justin’s, she worked in the environmental sector for Colorado-based water conservation non-profits on the 1% for the Colorado River Plan, and also spent time working in the solar industry developing renewable energy infrastructure in Denver. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of both Naturally Boulder and the Climate Collaborative, and has published articles with PowerHouse Growers, educating readers about food security and sustainable agricultural solutions.


Lisa SpickaLisa Spicka
Strategic Partnerships Director

Lisa Spicka is the Associate Director for the Sustainable Food Trade Association. She has worked extensively in the organic food/agriculture, manufacturing, and sustainability sectors since 1997 in both the U.S. and Latin America, and speaks fluent Spanish. Lisa offers substantial organic, operational, and sustainability insight to SFTA members.

As President of Maracujá Solutions in Portland, OR, Lisa helps clients protect their product and brand integrity through development of sustainable supply chain integrity programs. The former Latin American Coordinator for the Organic Crop Improvement Association (OCIA), she developed broad experience leading global trainings and presentations on organic standards, accreditation, and procedures. As Operations Manager at Cypress Grove Chevre, she designed food safety and labor standards and related training programs, and with Amway-Nutrilite, she created and tracked metrics for “NutriCert,” a program that fosters the sustainability practices of the brand’s global suppliers.


Lisa BraunLisa Braun
Member Technical Services Manager

Lisa Braun is the Sustainability Reporting and Analytics Specialist for the Sustainable Food Trade Association. She has a passion for promoting community and corporate sustainability, fueled by a long-standing interest in food system issues. She holds an M.S. in Environmental Science from CU-Boulder with a specialization in carbon management, and has professional experience performing greenhouse gas accounting. Lisa loves utilizing her sustainability background to assist and support members with tools and techniques to develop and evaluate their sustainability programs.
