Lisa Spicka Interim Executive Director Lisa Spicka is the Interim Executive Director for the Sustainable Food Trade Association. She has worked extensively in the organic food/agriculture, manufacturing, and sustainability sectors since 1997 in both the U.S. and Latin America, and speaks fluent Spanish. Lisa offers substantial organic, operational, and sustainability insight to SFTA members. As President of Maracujá Solutions in Portland, OR, Lisa helps clients protect their product and brand integrity through development of sustainable supply chain integrity programs. The former Latin American Coordinator for the Organic Crop Improvement Association (OCIA), she developed broad experience leading global trainings and presentations on organic standards, accreditation, and procedures. As Operations Manager at Cypress Grove Chevre, she designed food safety and labor standards and related training programs, and with Amway-Nutrilite, she created and tracked metrics for “NutriCert,” a program that fosters the sustainability practices of the brand’s global suppliers. |
Lisa Braun Sustainability Technical Services Manager Lisa Braun is the Sustainability Technical Services Manager for the Sustainable Food Trade Association. She has a passion for promoting community and corporate sustainability, fueled by a long-standing interest in food system issues. She holds an M.S. in Environmental Science from CU-Boulder, where she specialized in carbon management, and has professional experience performing greenhouse gas accounting. Lisa B. loves providing members with expertise, tools, and techniques for measuring and managing their sustainability programs. |
