Program Objective

To provide direct and sustained support to SFTA members as they pursue sustainability initiatives in their organizations and/or prepare their initial SFTA report.

Overview

On a volunteer basis, experienced SFTA members have agreed to serve as a mentor – one-on-one – to another full or associate member for the period needed to complete a first report. Ideally, the mentor and mentee would work in the same business sector (producer, manufacturer, retailer, etc.), however cross-sector assignments can be considered.  Scale of the mentor and mentee business will also be taken into consideration in assignments. The mentor and mentee will work out the type and frequency of communication. A confidentiality agreement is available to be signed by mentors if requested by the mentee.
